Dress Code

Levi 501,s
1960,s Retro Home shirt
Kathmandu Waterproof Jacket
RM Williams Boots
West Ham Beanie

Seat 60 quid and nice seat in row 43, seat 236 in the east stand almost opposite the director’s box on the other side of the stadium

It’s a bit of a fucking hike from Stratford station isn’t it, but then a quick shop and only 10 quid for a home shirt and another 8 quid for new beanie.

Is the stadium that bad though! After reading opinions on here I was actually pleasantly surprised that’s its not that bad, yes the running track is a pain but seriously is this as bad as some make out???? As to atmosphere, well were I was it was buzzing from start to finish, mind you that first half was sensational, even after Antonio went off injured, at that point I feared the worst but was happily proved very wrong, but credit to our fans they got right behind the team.

Well done West Ham fans, well done the players every one was immense today and well done Moyes, the future looks bright as hopefully the board have got the message.

Everton compares new concept to London Stadium

Plans for Everton’s new stadium have been shown off to Toffee fans by the architect tasked with designing a state-of-the-art football ground. American architect Dan Meis showed off his initial designs for the club’s new home at Bramley-Moore Dock in the heart of Liverpool via a series of workshops near their current Goodison Park ground.

Meis entertained around 150 Evertonians at St. Luke’s Church, reports the Liverpool Echo, in the first of four fan meetings designed to show what the Toffees’ new ‘concept bowl designed’ stadium could look like. The Architect overlayed the new concept design over existing stadiums including the London Stadium rented by West Ham shown above.

The estimated £300m build is expected to be completed in time for Everton to move into it for the start of the 2022/23 campaign and is under the £323m it cost taxpayers to convert the London Olympic Stadium.

The distance from the CR was supposed to be temporary until the East Stand was rebuilt, plans which fell through when we were relegated.
If we were still at UP, I would still be campaigning to develop the East Stand and bring it closer to the pitch.

A good atmosphere at UP pisses over a good atmosphere at the LS.

If the LS had been done as we foolishly believed it would be, it may well have been better than UP.

Are you settling for the stadium as it is Mad

Re: My first game at the new stadium today...COYI
So were the east and west stands of Upton park hugging the pitch in the final few seasons then?

Upton park Lost loads of atmosphere when they removed the standing areas.

And installed fucking cardboard turrets.

True the walk to the ground is sterile and shit now. But inside it's nowhere near as bad as it's made out.

It will take time and its by no means perfect. But it's what we've got now so we have to make the most of it. When it's a good game the atmosphere is fine. When it's shit it's a shit atmosphere (just like at Upton park)

I recommend Blocks 134 -139...rows 10 or higher back...
Bought mine (Bl. 137 row 10) from the official site turned in by a S/T holder did not need it...27quid vs Newcastle...lost to stupid goals...
Very good views...would do the same again...but was warned off upper tier...

Remember the picture of the LS showing Matt Taylor still playing for us there. The fans were about 10 feet from the pitch the way that was presented.......

Gold said they had already sold the BG when they found out they couldn’t in fact have the fans close to the pitch.

Regardless of dates, it’s the sequence of events that matter. They sold before making sure of the plans.

Criminal neglect of their duty as custodians of our club.

If fans had been shown honest renders of how the stadium looks now, back before the BG was sold, I reckon the vast VAST majority would have said “No fucking way do I want to move there, no matter what promises of top level football are made.”

I was there Saturday, and at the Leicester draw, and Chelsea in the cup last season, and yes, the atmosphere was very good at those matches, but that very good atmosphere was utterly shit compared to what it would have been like, if the owners had delivered what they promised us when they convinced us to back the move.

When they said it would be a dealbreaker if we couldn’t have the seats as close as at UP, we trusted them. They should have walked away when they realized the original architect got it wrong, but Gold said they’d already sold the BG by that point. That there is the unforgivable lack of care, to sell the ground before being 100% certain they could deliver.

The stakes were too high to get that wrong. Unforgivable.

Do we just shrug our shoulders and say “Ah we’ll, never mind,” and accept this shit for our kids and grandkids?

Fuck that. Imagine what the atmosphere should have been like, if the ground was more like Dortmund or even Anfield, where they have fans as close as us the 70s/80s.

The owners should never be able to forget this terrible betrayal of our trust. They have to find a way to fix it, or fuck off, selling to someone who can.

"There were at least some realistic alternatives like Plaistow and East Ham depending on which direction home was"

You do know there are other stations around the OS? Two that are actually closer than Stratford?

Re: My first game at the new stadium today...COYI
East Stand Pat - it's got nothing at all to do with the number of games we win. You should know that - or is this your 2nd season as a customer?

Coffee - in this context, impressive means nothing. Yes UP station could be difficult sometimes, but come on. There were at least some realistic alternatives like Plaistow and East Ham depending on which direction home was. The queues trying to get from the bowl to Stratford, once you've negotiated all the cunting placard holding storm troopers, are ridiculous when it's taken into account that thie superb transport links were to be a part of the whole fantastic match day experience. Same old bollocks. As regards the Boleyn Ground, yes we all know it's gone now, but it doesn't stop being our real home, especially after just 2 years in the Pit. The funny thing is, I don't think people would have minded moving if it was to a Boleyn mark 2, well thought out, with the fans being the top priority. It's at times like this when we as a club always fuck up and Spurs always seem to get it right - what I'd give to have their old stadium and tbh owners - I'm glad I've fucked it off now. Still, you all keep buying the popcorn, yeah?

Agreed ornchurch.
Can only hear bits and pieces and it's muted till everyone round the ground twigs what's being sung.
The bit that started it up have stopped by then!
It's all over the shop.

The atmosphere at the pit is shit.

Chav Corner was given up to the standers and our group was moved to the other end of the East Stand but we have hardly heard them since.

This Saturday we could only hear Block 140 and the BML and the atmosphere was as good as it's been all season.

If you can't hear the other end of the same stand singing then the atmosphere, by definition, has to be shit.

Should stop moaning about the walk as people forget how congested it was ay UP. At least you have Jubillee , Central Line and DLR options.

I was at the back in the BM upper. probably one of the worst seats. My opinion is it' not as bad as people make out but it ain't a football stadium full stop.

The atmos was OK and lets face it it wasn't that gre
